I also provided feedback for Moua, as I particularly liked her composition when we view these during our Zoom session. As indicated this was provided on the 1st April 2021.
Samara only had an email comment section. There was no comment section in her Blog. I copied my feedback to via the email field but once I pressed "submit" the screen cleared my feedback to tell me I was successful in submitting. This is a copy of my request for Samara to send a screen shot to me to show the feedback and the time I sent it. Below this screen shot is a copy of the feedback I sent Samara. Copy of feedback I submitted to Samara via the email fields she provided.
"Hi Samara, I liked your stop motion video. I particularly like how you focused on the comparison theme. I thought you portrayed this well with your portrait. I also enjoyed your chosen music and thought the timing and depth to the first piece aptly reflected the emotions you were portraying. Your music worked wonderfully with your text “Comparison kills creativity”. Well done on using alliteration to add meaning. I also liked, at the end, that we saw the happy, content you. It was similar to finishing a story. At the end of your story, when you changed to a photo of you smiling, I took this to mean that you have “bloomed” now to the beautiful, confident you. Perhaps we could see more of the “before” to put into context the “now”. I felt the music gave us a glimpse of your creative depth, but would love to see more. What creative things did you do when you were younger? Are you able to use a metaphor or find examples on line if you do not have examples. When comparison kills creativity, I would have liked to see more detail as to how this affected your creativity. I feel that the creative you, is still hiding behind those hydrangea blooms. A really measured, well-paced video. " Posted to Anna's blog on 1st April, 2.12 pm. Anna's blog's comment section only allowed 50 characters. I copied and pasted my response into the comment section as I felt I needed to do justice to her artwork.
